Rebellyous Foods is seeking a skilled, conscientious, flexible, and detail-oriented Director, Supply Chain & Logistics to lead the Warehouse, Supply Chain & Logistics team. Core Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations to create and build multi-channel strategies for business growth and development considering the uncertainty of the startup environment 
  • Ensure the uninterrupted supply of ingredients within the forecast and budget parameters by ensuring that product supply planning is forecasted correctly.
  • Lead and maintain Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning using excel templates and MRP
  • Make recommendations to refine Forecasting and Demand Planning
  • Creates vision and ratifies decisions for teams responsible for execution of Supply Chain services, such as logistics, customs compliance, vendor operations, omni-channel execution and strategy, and strategic inventory flow tactics
  • Work with internal cross functional teams to optimize systems for developing inventory targets and monitoring supply/ replenishment to achieve targeted inventory levels on both a cost and unit basis.
  • Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts and distribution agreements. Create and optimize contracts and budget processes to maximize the value of our supply network


  • Participate in the financial planning process through involvement in budgeting capital analyses and continuous improvement
  • Support the Sourcing function with data analysis and proactive measures to identify and target cost reduction activities
  • Ensure consistency in strategic make/buy decisions across the organization and develop adherence to fit-for-purpose supplier management, purchasing, and quality processes
  • Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities
  • Builds capacity of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and supervision efforts
  • Creates a strong, mutually supportive work spirit and culture where people can do their best
  • Be the in-house Logistics expert 
  • Lead department software/technology strategy including WMS, RFID, block chain, simulation tools 
  • Achieves optimal freight costs for inbound and outbound shipment through improvements to quality and service, as well as overall cost management
  • Develops and executes the logistics strategy for the division including the movement of freight to dealers, to/from distribution centers and direct supplier to dealer shipments
  • Champions all the SC/Logistics Six Sigma and Continuous improvement projects
  • Establishes and manages freight carrier compliance and performance standards
  • Negotiate rate agreements with freight carriers and other logistics providers
  • Manages freight payment process to ensure carriers are paid within payment terms
  • Coaches and develops employees to achieve growth and results within the department and division


Qualifications: Candidates should have the following credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, Master's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain and Logistics  Management
  • Expert understanding of demand planning, supply planning, and cross-functional S&OP processes and related systems
  • Be a compassionate leader with clarity of vision and dedication to staff development
  • Expert understanding of supply chain/Logistics KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, fill rates, on-time delivery, schedule attainment, etc.)
  • Inbound/Outbound logistics experience (relationship management with national/international shippers and 3PL’s)
  • Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • A get-it-done personality, with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect across teams and functions and positively influence all levels of the organization, business units, cultures and geographies
  • Entrepreneurial thinker with proven experience establishing vision and goals; developing strategic and tactical plans; and leading cross-divisional teams in accomplishing key strategic initiatives required
  • Knowledge of retail and food service, manufacturing, and distribution processes
  • An assertive, proactive, innovative, creative personality with the high physical and intellectual energy necessary to achieve success, whilst showing confidence
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem-solving ability to diagnose problems, resolve key issues and implement corrective actions with a keen sense of customer focus
  • Advanced to expert skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to develop supplier strategies aimed at the development of a long-term viable supply base
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and lean tools required.
  • Must have deep functional experience in supply/demand planning and direct spend category management
  • Superior querying, Excel, and Access skills, with the ability to efficiently generate complex analytics
  • Import/Export Experience highly desired
  • S&OP leadership 
  • Inventory Planning Experience
  • Experience in strategy deployment, value stream mapping, standard work and metrics boards
  • Experience developing integrated MRP/ERP systems highly desirable
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Location:  Greater Seattle area. This position is located at our facility in West Seattle, WA.
